Meet Our Founder
Janice Avanzado Sorensen is the founder and owner of Champion Roofing Inc., a woman-owned S-Corporation established in 2021.
Originally from the Philippines, Janice built her foundational expertise working in Guam for a large government contractor, where she managed bidding, procurement, and on-site project management across complex jobsites.
That experience gave her a rare combination of technical field knowledge and operational precision that she carries into every project today.
Champion Roofing has completed government-related roofing work including the NOAA Manchester Research Station reroof project in Port Orchard, Washington, demonstrating our ability to perform work on public-sector facilities.
With over 10 years in the roofing industry and thousands of completed projects behind her, Janice leads Champion Roofing with the belief that excellence is not optional — it is the only standard worth setting.
